Today I"m going to share with you about what I have learnt about the water project.
I had to watch a video about the water project and write down things I've learnt by watching it. Here are some things I've learnt.
- Most basic human need is out of reach for over 300 million people in Africa
- Today more than 1 in 8 people around the world will will start their day by walking around to find something to drink
- Unsafe water and poor situation conditions sick children can't learn
- Waterborne Illness kill more people every year than all of the conflicts and wars on earth combined
- Under wells can be constructed bringing water to hundreds
- Rainwater can be captured and stored for others
- Sand dams can be trap sessional rivers long enough to replenish the groundwater and that's where it all begins when water comes everything changes access to clean water helps a community climb that first step out of poverty clean leads to clean hands.
Do you know about the water project?
Hope you enjoyed this blog
