I’ve looked everywhere. Up stairs, Down stairs, every room. There’s nothing to be seen.
I double check everywhere. Still Nothing to be seen. I start to stress as I need to hurry before someone comes back. I went through every room to check I didn’t miss anything.
I walk down the hall as I hear a sound as I think someone is entering the house. I run onto the room I first see. I close the door behind me slowly so I don’t make a sound.
I look around the room as I see something strange in the corner of the room.
I walk slowly towards the corner, It looks as if a tile on the ground has come off.
I kneel down onto the ground as I take a closer look at the tile. I reach down to touch the tile.
The tile pops out. There was a piece of paper under the gap. On the piece of paper it says,
“I’ve left you something special in the attic”. I wondered what attic this person was talking about. When I was looking around the house I didn’t see an attic anywhere.

I walk into the room as it goes silent. I look around wondering where to go next.

For today blog i'll be talking to you about my writing workshop this week. Here is our goal, Use “show not tell” when appropriate. For our create task this week we had a choice out of 4 different subjects I choose lost. We had to write down show not tell. What I mean by show not tell is when writing a story you want to show emotion so the reader can understand what the characters in the story.
Lost
Her eyes started watering. Her legs start shaking as a cold breese hits her. Looking around not knowing where to go, not remembering what way she came. The sun starts going down as it starts to get dark. She looks at her watch seeing how late it was. Hours have passed since she started walking. Her legs started getting tierd. She finds a place to sit down and gets a drink of water out of her drink bottle. She opened her drink bottle as there was no water left. She starts panicking as there is no one around to help. Her heart starts pumping as she feels like she's stuck in a maze with no way out.
