Cantamath

Hello and welcome back,

This week I'm going to be talking to you guys about my board game. I am doing a board game for Cantamath, I am doing a board game with my friend Grace go check out her blog Grace's blog
We came up with a bored game and how you play is its a bit like 5 second rule. The rules are that you move on the bored if you get a maths question right you move up on the bored if you get it wrong you stay were you are. There are pink squares on the bored game and if you get on them they are "DANGER ZONE" If you land on them and you get your maths question right you can move to the next square if you get it wrong you have to move back one square. We are handing in our bored game into our teacher this Friday then they are going to give it to horn castle arena when it will be presented and judged on.

Have you ever done something like this?

What we did is that we got given two task to do we had to write on a piece of paper and wrote down sentences and then we had to draw what we visualise our goal was: Visualise using all of the senses, and talk about how this enriches meaning.
our first task was to listen to the song What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong
Here is what I did for this one:
I'm not sure if you will be able to read what I wrote down

Science

Hi and welcome back to my blog,

For today's blog I am going to be telling you about our science that we have been doing over the past couple of weeks, For this week science that we did was about the states of matter, What we did is that we got a beaker and filled it up with water and then we put an ice cube in it after a couple of minutes the ice melted, It melted because the water was not as cold as the ice.
This is my science method

Do you do science at your school?

Stanford University maths course

Hello and welcome back to my blog,

Today's blog is about the Stanford university maths course that we have been doing, We had to do six lessons here is what I have learnt

Lesson 1
I learnt a lot about that there is so much that you can use to help you in your maths like building blocks, Computer games and many more, I think that I have gotten better at doing my maths and working out maths questions, I learnt a lot just from the first lesson.

Lesson 2
In lesson 2 I learnt that  it doesn't matter what grade you get on a maths test weather it a low score or a high score as long as you try your hardest. Also don't listen to anyone who says that your not good at maths because there wrong don't let them put you down all you have to do is try your hardest.

Lesson 3
I learnt that when you make mistakes your brain grows and you learn a lot from your mistakes. Its doesn't matter if you get a question wrong because yo can only learn from your mistakes. Also you have to take your time because when you don't take your time that's not trying your best and it doesn't matter if you are the last one to do something as long as you tried

Lesson 4
I learnt that people with fixed mindset don't believe in their self's and give up really easily and people with growth mindset try there hardest and if they get an answer wrong they try and try again. Every one should always try there best in what they do and try your hardest and never give up.

Lesson 5
I learnt when you do maths you always have to think big and have to try your hardest. In maths there are always right and wrong answers. And when you get questions wrong it doesn't matter as long as you tried hard.

Lesson 6
I learnt that when you make a mistake in maths it doesn't matter because you brain grows from you mistakes. It also asked us "What cool examples of maths in the world can you think of" and I thought of, "I think that everybody in the world should be able to learn maths and get a chance to learn and get to try there best in maths"

I have learnt so much from the maths course
Hope you enjoyed this blog
Have you ever done a maths course before?
