Winter Sport

Hello and welcome back to my Blog 

For the past few weeks we have been going to winter sport. Before we started we had to pick two sports to trial for we had to choose a 1st choice and then 2nd choice, They gave us the choice of  to pick 2 of these sports there was: Rugby, Netball, Hockey and Football. I chose Netball as my first choice and Hockey as my 2nd, For every sport they have 3 teams an A team, B team and a C team I got into a Netball team I play for the B Netball team.There are Phoebe, Paige, Sienna, Ruby, Arie, Tamera, Arihia and Me, We go to winter sport every Thursday. My Favourite place to play at is GS and GA I love to shoot and get goals for our team.

Hello and welcome back to my blog today i'm going to tell you about my reading task for this week's blog it's a little bit late. Our reading focus is: : Make connections between other texts and general knowledge to expand meaning and pose questions, using more sophisticated texts. For our task we read two books and then we had to write down Similarities, Differences and Questions

Maths Video

Hello and welcome back to my blog 

In today's blog i will be talking to you guys about our one of our task for this week, For this week we One of the task was to film a maths video, We got a maths doc that had all the maths questions on it we answered the questions in our maths books and then put it on a slide. The maths is called Stairs to squares to had to come up 4 ways to makes patterns growing. And then we had to make a story and see if we could do it another way we could do the pattern. We had to do a lot more questions we did  but our last task after we accomplished all the questions we had to make a video of us talking about how we did the questions and what Strategy we did.

Reading Task

Hello and Welcome back to my blog 
Today I'm going to be talk to you about my reading task for this week, My task for reading last week is called Synthesis eggs

We read a book called MeMe and Me, Our goal for this reading workshop was Think while reading, pick up new information, and come up with new ideas and new thinking. For this task we had three eggs and we had to put the answers that we already knew, The first egg we had to answer was what I already know..., The second one asked us What I read in the text..., And the last one was The new understanding is...

Breakout EDU

Welcome back to my blog 
This week we got to do breakout EDU, Breakout EDU is like an escape room but except your not try to escape you trying to open these boxes witch have stuff in them to try and get a record for the fastest time to get all the clues, For this we went in groups, the groups we went in are our quiz groups, Our quiz groups are group that we got put into and we have turns making quizzes and present them to the hub and the group after all the groups have done there quiz to the hub there will be a winning group for how many points from the quizzes that we do from other group. For breakout EDU we had to group up in too teams and team up to try and get the fastest time to work together to open all the locks open before the time runs out, When me and my group and another group did it we got the highest time but then the team after us.

For the theme it was about the movie Wonder if you haven't seen Wonder before it is about a boy who is born differently then others he had lots of surgery to help him look normal but he still looked different, His mother home schooled him and then she divided to put him into a school, When he got to the school he met with the principle he got some kids from the school to show him around  when they were showing him around one of he kids were mean and asked "May I ask whats with your face" The others were mad and were like " You can't say that" and " That's mean just forget he said that" But one of the people who showed him around became one of his best friends i'm not going to spoil more of it but that's just a little bit about the movie, Last years Break out EDU the theme was star wars, I had so much fun working as a team and getting to work with other I love doing Break out EDU

Bingo Card

Welcome Back 

This week we got given a task celled the bingo card on it there are a hole lot of task to do

For this we tried to accomplish as many bingo task as we could, One that I have done is we had to watch a video about a girl who has only one leg and wanted to try something but couldn't do it she got sad frustrated but she didn't realise that she has so many people around her that can help  here is what i did

Teacher Strike

Hello and welcome back to my blog 

In week 5 their was a teacher strike on Wednesday the 31st there was a teacher strike, Last week the teachers had a teacher strike they went on strike to not get more money but more time, I think that this strike was a good idea to get more money and time to work
